The design centers on a 19" x 19" central theme block of a prayerful Sue, dressed in her Sunday best. The applique' can include the use of a cut-out flower from fabric, real lace or eyelet for Sue's petticoat and embroidered embellishments for small details.
The center block is framed by an 11" border with eight pieced Cross and Crown blocks and corner blocks of Sue applique'. Sue is a busy girl: taking food in, leading the music, walking to Sunday School and praying with Little Sue
The pattern includes a complete shopping list, traceable Sue applique' pieces and sewing directions.
